Congratulations to the owners and staff for including traditional dishes in their menu! Food is very tasty, with generous portions for fair prices. We were the only tourists to dine on a weekend evening, the other guests were locals. We were very happy with our discovery and would came back here again for sure!

If you want to eat in a place that feels a bit forgotten by time I highly suggest il vecchio Aquarium. The feel is a bit 1980s, the food and the ambiance is fantastic for those looking for something outside the normal tourist trap. Highly recommend for travelers interested in experiencing a slice of authentic Sicily. Prices are honest as are the people who run the restaurant. And of course the snails are a must try.

Nice fish restaurant with reasonable prices. Specialty is snails, served different ways. This is a huge plate. If you want just a taste, share a plate. My husband had seabass and the owner deboned it at the table when she saw we were not handy with it. House white wine is ok. They have wine by the bottle as well but you have to be specific if that is what you want.

Veramente un’ottima scoperta questo ristorante. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta sia dal servizio da parte del personale ma anche dal cibo che è di ottima qualità. Tornerò sicuramente !

Siamo stati in questo caratteristico locale a conduzione familiare, rinomato per le lumache. Abbiamo assaggiato la degustazione di lumache (al sugo, al pepe nero, all’aceto e gratin) e gli ntuppatieddi (una tipologia di lumache più pregiato). Tutte veramente ottime! Meritano anche gli spaghetti alla Sebi (finocchietto e lumache) e le trofei al sugo di maiale. Una menzione, infine, va dedicata anche al cannolo scomposto con ricotta artigianale rigorosamente di pecora, disponibile solo al di fuori della stagione estiva e tra i migliori mai mangiati. Lo consigliamo vivamente!

Veramente un'ottima scoperta questo locale lo consiglio a tutti. Nonostante fossimo arrivati quasi a chiusura, abbiamo potuto assaporare un'OTTIMA carbonara senza glutine e pasta al ragù, di quelle che ormai nessuno sa fare più. Per non parlare della grigliata mista di carne, tutto di ottima qualità e fresco . Prezzi nella media e servizio rapidissimo, ho insistito per lasciare la mancia perché ho mangiato veramente bene!!
